Review of Flash Game: Zombie Dolls
Zombie Dolls is an addictive and amusing game. Hours can easily be lost hiding behind barricades shooting, beating, boomeranging, and exploding these adorable zombies as they try to overrun your house. If you like simple zombie shooting games or are in search of a zombie game that isn't too graphic, then this game is for you.
The best part of the game is definitely the zombies themselves. The assortment of zombie dolls, such as pirates, angry zombie dolls, and ninja zombie dolls, keep the game interesting and challenging. They even try to fly over your barricades dangling from balloons. The wide variety of weapons also adds to the challenge.
Some zombies can only be killed with certain weapons. You have to figure out which weapons are effective against which type of zombies. Then you have to learn how to defend yourself against their collection of attacks. Sometimes repairing the barricades and rapidly shooting does not cut it. As you become more proficient at killing zombies, you can focus on other things like how they often scream "Oh, no," when shot. It kind of makes you feel bad for killing them. The feeling does not last long though as they continue to try to invade your house.
One flaw in the game is the way you earn money. If you shoot certain zombies they drop coins. Sometimes those coins will float up into your bank account instantaneously, other times it takes to the end of the round or the coins are never added to your bank account. This makes it very difficult to purchase new weapons, especially when the max you get for beating a level is ten coins and the weapons average a couple hundred coins each. If you don't have the right weapon to beat a level, you might be stuck there for a long time as you try to save up for one you can beat it with.
A few tips for beating the game:
Become familiar with each weapon and which type of zombie it is meant to kill. Once you are familiar with this, remember to toggle between weapons so your barricades won't be destroyed.
Consider whether you want a better defense or offense early. You won't be able to procure enough money to make both strong.
If you get stuck, change your strategy and maybe strengthen your barricades a little or upgrade your weapon. Remember, ninjas can dodge most bullets.

Orchard Farming Game Review
There has been hype on the gaming market recently concerning real-time strategy games. Agricultural simulations have been enjoying success and when you combine strategy and simulations there is likely to be success as evident by games such as Youda Farmer and Farm Mania to name a few. Orchard however has not been as successful even though it includes the combination of time management, strategy and simulation. This game has made an out as it requires lots of time and energy to play often with success being very limited in terms of reaping a crop. This makes it more challenging than many.
The introductory storyline of the game is quite simple. A former mail clerk Ivy attains a farm as her inheritance from her Granduncle Fred. This introduction then leads to the need to work at a variety of swatches of rural land that are displayed in bright 2D animation with mini cartoon figures running around labouring on the fields, planting and picking crops. The game is rather simple in its objectives with the aspiration being to hire worker and sell fruits to make a profit in terms of money with limited resource.
Initially work is done single-handed and then when enough funds and wood are accumulated there is an expansion of the holdings. The player is then able to hire workers and construct more building and complete upgrades. The added plus is that you are able to use these additions to work force and other assets to improve operations in each successive scenario and this leads to a slowly progressive move towards the achievement of the outlined assignments.
One plus is that the rivals around do not include the use of additional workers and unlike them you can in this game get workers to aid in collecting wood, picking grapes and erecting housing. All tasks needed for advancement. You are required to stay afloat with fluctuating market prices and many other factors contribute to your success in attracting customers such as advertising. Specific characters can be dedicated to particular tasks and results in improved advancement as missions get harder and take longer to accomplish. This game has ample playtime ensured with your purchase which is another great reason to download or buy it.
For a game belonging to this genre Orchard outlined in a different way and some steps are time consuming. The tutorial alone can take longer than 15 minutes. Tasks are meticulous to complete and take several steps. Many gamers will like the more economic spin this game puts on the farming game genre, but it's not for everyone.

Review of Flash Game: Crazy Mammoths
Have you ever wanted to pretend to be a wooly mammoth and then slide down a snowy slope whilst trapped in a giant block of ice? Well here is your chance. Slide past igloos, penguins, and snow-covered trees, while hoping over other ice cubed mammoths and try to be the first mammoth through the checkpoints. There is no need to defrost your vehicle, or mammoth before this race.
The game premise is very simple. All the player has to do is jump over the other mammoths and jump to prevent the other mammoth from passing him or her. Occasionally, the ground shifts backward, giving the player in last place a chance to catch up. The mammoth that is in first position the longest, or at least in first place at the most check points, wins the race. The game gets more difficult with each level. One impressive aspect of the game is that each mammoth has its own special abilities and handicaps. Some mammoths can jump higher than others, while other mammoths have more speed and power. The player must adjust to each mammoth in order to conquer Championship Mode. There are two other modes in the game, Challenge Mode and Four Player Mode. In Challenge Mode, the player needs to pass the most check points in a row to win. In Four Player Mode, the player is allowed to choose which four mammoths race, but other than that, it is exactly like challenge mode.
Even though there are slight variations between the different game modes there are times when the action is too monotonous. The challenge is there, but after a while the game becomes a bit boring. Nothing new is added. Just slide down the hill. Also, there is no music to stimulate the player. The only sound is that of a mammoth sliding through the snow and the chime of a bell at each check point. The background is a little sparse, with mostly pure blue and white. A little more color and sound would definitely add to the excitement of the game.
Hints and Tips:
Figure out not only what your mammoth's abilities are, but also the other mammoth's abilities early in the race. For example: if you know a certain racer cannot jump high, then he will be easier to block and you can spend less time defending his attacks.
Figure out when it is easier to pass under a mammoth or over a mammoth. This will vary depending on who you are racing.

Miami Shark - Flash Game Review
Miami Shark is an extremely fun arcade game in which you take control of a shark and destroy everything in sight. Sea and air! You continually dive down and unleash your momentum in one massive leap into the air, destroying planes and boats.
To begin with it appears to be a simple arcade game that you could perhaps attempt a couple of goes, however, it's unbelievably exciting! The controls are relatively simple, by your second attempt you will find yourself reasonably comfortable with them, there is a brief tutorial running through the controls on your first try at the beginning stretch of the course. I just basically kept clicking A and kept diving down and leaping out of the water.
By far the most thrilling part of the game is clinging onto the plane wheels as they pass, followed by pulling them into the water. Always keep an eye out for the plane icon, then quickly go down the darker shade of water at the bottom of the screen, and hold up. The screen will move up slightly and you will notice a massive plane passing by, press the bite button when the wheel is in line with your shark and proceed to pull it into the water! Destroying enormous objects like these will create larger chains caused by destroying multiple objects in one manoeuvre, and will increase the amount of points you earn!
Another objective within the game other than earning the highest score possible is the time taken to drag an aircraft into the water. On the statistics screen it will display the time taken, you will notice that when you grasp hold of an aircraft's wheel a sign will appear on your screen indicating to keep pressing the down arrow key, and a timer will begin. The challenge is to eliminate all aircraft in one mission in the quickest time possible! Other statistics that you may challenge yourself to beat is the amount of people/animals/boats you destroy - taking all of this into account there is a respectable amount of achievements to accomplish before you are finished with this game.
In conclusion, Miami Shark has classic arcade attributes. Its fun and replays the same mission and utilizes the competitiveness of wanting to defeat your high score. I ended up playing it several times, each time more determined than the last and I wasn't satisfied until I had defeated my high score!

Counter Strike - Source Review
Gameplay - 10.09
Counter-Strike: Source is a list not because of the multiplayer game in Europe with various alloys as well as in their game. Counter-Strike: Source (also known as CSS from now on) do not have a single player but not to Participating experiences play a multiplayer game offers a lot for the beginner to experienced player, or if the same CSS FPS. CSS has a very different game to most other first person shooter, for example, largely popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which in my opinion easier than cascading play. CSS actually works in a round, especially with the very tactical clan for many hundreds of new and spit all the time. How many servers clan community of this game so there is always a server to play with you. All servers can implement the changes the game is a great variety.
When you start the multiplayerYou have to choose between two teams, terrorists (Ts) and anti-terrorists (CT). Usually you have to choose which team would ever compensate due to server settings and make the right play. Then you get five different "personalities" for each team. These are just for looks, because when the cycle starts, you have the money you earn to kill and your team wins the round. I also believe that there is an element that over time, but I'm not sure about the ruleregarding time and cash. You have a range of guns to pick from your common rifles M4A1 for CTs and AK-47s for Ts as well as an AWP but this is usually limited to one per team to make it fair. Each of the normal maps (you can also get many orange maps which are created by people other than Valve, the creators) are either rescue the hostages or plant the bomb. These are self-explanatory. Most servers are usually 20-24 slot so expect to have 9-11 other team mates with you as well.
Now, part of the tactical play to CSS is that if you die, you lose your guns so you have to be careful and not just run out, especially as if you die, you have to wait till one team wins to respawn for next round (unless you're on a death match server), so some players, if the times next to running out, will just 'play for time' meaning they have no intention of killing but putting them off long enough to survive the round. This playing for time also happens after a bomb plant. I think you can work out how that works.
Graphics - 7/10
The graphics in CSS are average but to be honest, unless you have a high-spec computer you don't want the graphic settings on the best they can because you wouldn't get as good Frame rate which could, or will rather hinder you in game play as reaction times really count in this game.
Sounds - 9/10
Sounds are a very big part of game play in CSS and because of that they're good. They're a major part because you can hear peoples' footsteps (unless they're using Shift to walk) which allows you to prepare early and ambush them so in clan play it's suggestible to walk around corners or areas which may have the enemy near by. Other than that, all other sounds are good too like the sound difference between a normal M4A1 and the sound you get from a Silenced M4A1 has a realistic change. All grenades, flash bangs and smokes have a sound as well and they change depending on the distance.
Total - 8.3

Penny Dreadfuls Sweeney Todd Game Review
Fancy a nice close shave? Or perhaps a hot juicy pie? The legend of the killer barber of Fleet Street returns in the Penny Dreadfuls Sweeney Todd adventure puzzle game. Use your hidden object skills to track down and stop the notorious killer Sweeney Todd and bring his operation to an end!
Enter the world of 19th century London, based on the most famous story from the Penny Dreadful serials of that era. The story of Sweeney Todd has been told many times in different forms, and has been turned into a movie in the 1930's, a ballet in the 1950's and even a musical in the 1970's. Its latest incarnation is the 2007 movie musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.
In the Penny Dreadfuls Sweeney Todd game, you start out by assisting the police in a missing persons case, helping young Miss Johanna find her missing fiance Mark. The case soon takes a sinister turn and you become entangled in a web of murder and treachery (and some tasty pies). Your task is to solve the case and arrest the culprits behind the disappearances (no surprises as to who they are...), and reunite Johanna with her fiance.
The gameplay in Sweeney Todd is primarily a point-and-click adventure style, with lots of hidden object scenes and mini puzzles thrown in. And in a nod to the musical and movie that it is based on, the various chapters in the game are separated by cut scenes that involve the characters singing their story. It is a refreshing change from the typical games where story elements are just subtitled or narrated to you.
At the start of the game, you are able to choose 2 different types of game styles. The more casual option is similar to other hidden object games where the hidden objects and puzzle pieces sometimes sparkle to let you know that they are objects of interest. The more difficult option will provide you with a more challenging experience, where some of the objects are so well hidden that it will take sleuthing skill and proper detective work to figure out which objects you need to find or manipulate.
The main interface of the game is an adventure-style platform, where you see locations made famous in the Sweeney Todd serials and movies. You get to visit Fleet Street in all its gritty glory, as well as Mrs. Lovett's cosy little pie shop. Your objective in each chapter of the game is to retrieve 3 items that are clues to help you solve the case. You can obtain these items by manipulating objects in the main interface, such as obtaining a lighter and firewood from different locations and using them in a fireplace to light its surroundings and find a clue hidden in the shadows.
Other objects will require you to solve the standard hidden object puzzles, with each scene brilliantly drawn with objects seamlessly hidden in the background. There are also logic, spatial and jigsaw puzzles that you will need to solve in order to discover more clues. A word of caution though: randomly clicking a scene hoping to find an object of interest will not work. Continuous clicking on wrong objects will reverse your progress and return previously discovered objects back into the scene!
The atmosphere, artwork and soundtrack in the game are a great package that beautifully illustrates the world of 19th century London and brings out the grit and suspense surrounding the Sweeney Todd case. You don't need to be a fan of the story (or Johnny Depp) to become totally absorbed in this thrilling story that unfolds chapter by chapter with plot twists at every corner.
Penny Dreadfuls Sweeney Todd has production values that are better than a lot of other hidden object games out there. The game also provides a higher than average challenge that will keep you occupied and absorbed for hours!
Rating: 4.5/5.0

Bloons Game - Review of Ninjakiwi's Balloon Popping Puzzler
There are a lot of free games out there on the good old interwebs these days. As the capabilities of Flash have advanced, we've seen more and more complicated games appear within this magnificent series of tubes. Flash games are getting closer and closer to the quality of commercial games every day. But sometimes it's the simpler games that stand out. Sometimes you don't want to commit to a 100-hour plus RPG epic or a fast-paced, seizure inducing shoot-em'-up. Sometimes gamers need something casual that they can just sit back and relax with for a few minutes in between aforementioned hardcore games. It is for this reason that we have puzzle games, simplistic games of strategy and whimsy that you can jump right into for a quick round or two in-between other activities.
Is Bloons the absolute greatest puzzle game ever made? I'm going to be straight with you guys and make this clear right from the start: no, it isn't. Far from it in fact. I can name half a dozen better free games out there off the top of my head you could be playing instead. But that's not to say Bloons is an awful game either, because it certainly isn't. Hell, if you try it, it might become your new favourite game. But who am I to say whether or not you'll enjoy it? Besides, of course, the person who's job it is to help you come to that decision... Anyway, read on, and judge for yourself.
Bloons' concept is a pretty simple one. You are a monkey. You have darts. There are balloons. Pop them with your darts. Pop the required number of balloons with the number of darts you are given to advance to the next level, and repeat. Over. And over. And over. That's all there is to it. You want a story packed with character development and twists and turns? Too bad, you won't find that here. A stirring, epic musical score? Stick to Final Fantasy. You get what you paid for with Bloons. Actually, since you paid absolutely nothing, they are being pretty generous here when you think about it. On to the control scheme... and what a sinister scheme it is.
The controls, like the rest of the game, are very simple. The game is played entirely with the mouse. Players set up their shots by adjusting the angle with the mouse. Then the left mouse button can be held down to set up the power of the shot. Too little power and your dart... well, won't do much at all, will it? Too much power and your dart will fire in a straight line right across the screen and maybe knick a balloon or too one the way but miss most of them in most situations. But, if your shot is charged up just right, it will travel in a nice arc and take out a ton of balloons. Every level has its own unique balloon placement, ammunition, balloon quota, and obstacles. There is no shortage of levels to play through, so if you can get behind the concept expect to spend quite awhile on this game.
I get the feeling that Ninja Kiwi is a Peggle fan. Like Peggle, many of the puzzles rely on angling your shots just right to get around the various obstacles that protect your helium-filled prey. Also like Peggle, you will play through all sorts of "gimmicky" levels that show off the games capabilities. I have to say, Bloons' physics are pretty impressive. Changing your shot's angle or power even slightly, again like Peggle, will produce a noticeably different trajectory. Although you will lose constantly, rounds go so fast that this isn't too much of a setback. At most, on the most challenging of levels, expect to spend about 10 minutes trying various different approaches before you figure things out.
Although they aren't everything, graphics and sound are an important part of any good game. Bloons is simplistic but passable in both categories. The monkey is drawn well enough to recognize him as a monkey, and the balloons make a satisfying popping noise when you pop them. Nothing spectacular but nothing that bad either. Some of the sound effects were a bit loud, and I would have liked the option to turn down to mute them.
If I had to point out Bloons' one major flaw, it would probably be its difficulty curve. Or lack of one. You will go from a moderately difficult level to an impossibly difficult one to one that is impossible to NOT win and is seemingly there only to show off some flashy new effect. Typically, a game's difficulty will increase at a steady curve so that the players skill increases alongside the game's challenge, but with Bloons, the difficulty jumps around all over the place throughout the game. New players will run into several very difficult levels early on that they probably aren't ready for. It doesn't ruin the experience, but it might frustrate some players.
Playability: 9/10
Graphics: 7/10
Originality: 6/10
Game Detail: 7/10
Addictiveness: 7/10
Final Score: 72%

Xbox 360 Game Review - Six Days in Fallujah
Six Days in Fallujah makes a claim to be one of the most practical war Xbox 360 games ever made, and it is also one of the most questionable. The game has gathered so much negative press the publisher, Konami, dropped it like a time-honoured hot potato, leaving developer Atomic Games in a dicey position. If they do not get a publisher shortly, the company may stop work and the game may never see the daylight.
Six Days in Fallujah follows the real-world exploits of US forces in the 46-day battle that occurred in this central Iraqi city. The battle started on Nov seven, 2004 and lasted to December twenty-three of the same year. More than one thousand insurgents died, and 38 U.S. Infantrymen were killed. The game has taken more than 3 years to develop at a price of twenty-million, and it is not finished because of a shortage of funding and the danger that there won't be a publisher to market the game to customers.
Practical war games are nothing new, as titles like Call of Duty are among some of the most well-liked of all Xbox 360 games. The furore over Six Days in Fallujah is that it's too real. It was developed with the aid of marines that basically took part in the battle. They added their experiences, their viewpoints, their fears, as well as their names and likenesses.
Some claim this game is disrespectful to those that were killed. They call it unseemly. The furore comes from infantrymen, officials, anti-war groups, members of the U.S.
So, are you able to blame Konami for pulling out of this? Presented as a third-person shooter, Six Days in Fallujah follows the exploits of the 3rd Corps over the course of 6 days as they try to liberate the town of Fallujah of insurgents. Even though it's a war game, the brand is filed as survival horror. The nightmares of war should be apparent. Survival is the name of the game as you never can tell what risks lurk round the next corner or behind the following door.
As the genuine marines did, you'll make your way thru the traditional streets of Fallujah going door to door in pursuit of insurgents. These rebels will stop at nothing to kill you. A lot of them are resigned not to leave the town alive as they lay in wait to ambush you. You may search many houses and rooms with no success, and then when you expect it least the insurgents will surprise and attack and let's never forget the booby traps. Urban warfare is a different sort of beast. It needs patience, planning, and superb strategic strategies, all of which is outlined in the game.
Weapons include attack rifles, grenades, C4 explosives, and air strikes, which can be called in to clear a building from overhead. Explosives are used to blast holes in walls in the hope of surprising insurgents by making a surprising entrance. Courtesy of a recently designed engine, the environment is completely destructible.
This annihilation plays a vital component in the method, since you may use some for cover and even implode entire structures on the enemy. As in real life, you'll use whatever limited tools, weapons, and secrets you have at your disposal. According to Atomic Games ' president Peter Tamte, unlike the other media, the interactive nature of the computer game permits players to put themselves in pragmatic decision making processes. In this manner, players will experience war as near to first hand as possible. Pictures, books, and even stories are passive. Though they may chronicle events as exactly as practicable, you can't influence the result. He claims that such interaction gives a deeper level of understanding.
We should hope that Six Days in Fallujah unearths a publisher. This is a tale that has to be told. It's more than a game. For those that are against its release, I am able to respect that but you've got the freedom to choose not to buy or play it. Let us always remember those that died so we can live and let live.

Grand Theft Auto IV Review
The fourth installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise is its most successful installment to date. The series which has always been critically and commercially applauded nearly deserves a standing ovation with this one. The sandbox style game play that deftly switches between high octane driving and high adrenaline action is the stuff great games are made of. The game has consolidated the position of the franchise for several more sequels to follow.
The game is the first in a series of games that are to follow anyway; it belongs to the fourth generation of GTA which also contains San Andreas. This game is set in a city made up by the developers named as Liberty City (the Liberty alludes to New York a great deal). This is a classic tale of a person caught in the world of crime. The protagonist here is Niko Bellic who comes from Europe to fall in love with the American lifestyle. But, as chance may have it, he is pulled into a quagmire of everything that the American Dream isn't about. The story follows his induction into the seedy world of gang wars and his rise therein.
The whole game is open game, which means you can reach from any point to any point in the game if you want to. There are no segments and the chapters just flow. This makes the game more interesting because you can always return to what you have missed out before.
There is something about gangster games that is very intriguing - their graphics are always intriguing. This can be said with much more feeling about Grand Theft Auto IV. The graphics make you positively drool. Liberty City is made to be a very lively city with the most minor of details and background events given attention to. You feel this is a city you are visiting in real life, not just playing.
Like all GTA games, the game play is divided into action as well as driving. Shooting is in the third person format and driving is as close to the real thing as it can be. The game deftly switches between the two, making fans of both genres feel quite appeased. Also, like the other GTA games the cheeky humor is all there. There is even a phone where you can fix dates with girls and such! Even when you are not actively pursuing a mission here, you do not feel bored because you can always check out such inclusions that have been smartly made in the game.
Character progression in games is not a new thing at all, but in GTA it really looks swankier. You get new cars, new clothes, flashier cell phones and it all becomes extremely interesting. There is just the right level of things doled out with each progression. With some games, you are given so little you feel cheated and with some others, you are given so much that you do not know what you must use. GTA IV has it just right.
The multiplayer version of the game is not as great as it could be but you are sure to have a smooth playing experience here too. All in all, this is a game that must not be missed for any reason whatsoever.
